The definition of grace, style, and sultry southern
savoir-faire, Phaedra was born and raised in Georgia and
earned a Bachelors of Arts, with honors, from Wesleyan
College in Macon, Georgia and a Juris Doctorate from the
University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Since the
inception of THE PARKS GROUP P.C., Phaedra has evolved
into a formidable business woman and philanthropist with
a diverse professional career that encompasses acute
interpretations of the law to weekly appearances on
major networks and television programming alike. While
cultivating her career as an exceptional attorney,
Phaedra has served as a legal analyst for NBC and Fox
News during the Michael Jackson trial, Entertainment
Tonight, Celebrity Justice, EXTRA, Court TV and various
local news outlets. In addition to an analyst, Phaedra
has also been featured in numerous media publications
such as - Newsweek, People, XXL, Rolling Out, JET, King,
Source, the L.A. Focus, The Boston Herald, the Atlanta
Journal Constitution and The New York Times. Phaedra has
offered her legal expertise on public issues while
serving as a featured guest speaker on broadcasts for
Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, V-103, Newstalk 680, and WAOK. |

While diversifying her career in the law, Phaedra
successfully worked as the consulting producer and
talent for one of BET’s most highly viewed shows, Tiny &
Toya and most recently, she brought flavor and flair to
the third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta
(2010/2011). Dubbed early in the season as “[a
housewife] from a different breed” who is able to be
“brash and bold and back up her words with action,”
Attorney Phaedra Parks achieved notoriety and vast
respect from viewers as the weeks progressed during the
season. The Bravo network and viewers alike anxiously
anticipate what Phaedra will deliver in future seasons
of the show. |

ever so stylish Attorney Phaedra Parks has been

Amidst of the demands of her career, Phaedra also
allocates time to engage in philanthropy and community
service. Phaedra is a past President of the Gate City
Bar Association and actively sits on the boards for the
Junior League of Atlanta, Atlanta Children’s Shelter,
the American Bar Association’s Advisory Board, the Ryan
Cameron Foundation, the University of Georgia’s Donald
L. Hollowell Professorship Endorsement Committee, and
the University of Georgia’s Law School Alumni Counsel.
She is also a philanthropic partner with Cool Girls and
Jane Fonda’s Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy
Prevention (G-CAPP). |
