Phaedra Parks supports the Be a Hero! event in Atlanta, GA. -- On Saturday, April 28, 2012, Attorney Phaedra Parks teamed up with the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for rare diseases and specialized disabilities, to grant three-year-old Addy, who has a form of leukemia, and her family a wish. Addy's family requested gas money for the six hour round trip commute to Atlanta's Children Hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Together, Attorney Parks and the Wish Upon a Hero foundation granted Addy and her family their wish by giving them over a $1,000 to help them with gas and living expenses.

Phaedra Parks runs a 5K in honor of Atlanta’s Children Shelter - On June 11, 20011, “Team Phaedra”, took on the challenge of the Annual Atlanta Children’s Shelter 5K Run/ Walk in Piedmont Park. For the past 25 years, Atlanta Children's Shelter has provided high quality early childcare for the children of homeless families aged one month to five years old and support services for homeless families striving for self-sufficiency. To date, the Atlanta Children’s Shelter has provided care for nearly 8,000 homeless children. Steered by the Shelter’s board member, Ms. Phaedra Parks, “Team Phaedra”, braved the 90 degree temps of “Hot Atlanta” on behalf of the Shelter and raised thousands of dollars for this philanthropic effort. Phaedra Parks Jams with Atlanta Lawyers for a Worthy Cause - On Saturday, June 18, 2011, Entertainment Attorney Phaedra Parks served as a judge for the Annual LawJam held at the Variety Place House. The evening featured a range of different bands, composed of some of Atlanta’s judges and attorneys, taking center stage in an effort to raise money for the Atlanta Bar Association. Proceeds benefit the Atlanta Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar Association, which funds projects that support youth, pro bono legal services, higher education through scholarships and public understanding of the law.
